Association Inauguration

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Association Inauguration and Seminar on "Recent Trends In Industrial Automation"

The inauguration of EEE department Association was held on 02.08.2016 at 9:30 A.M in Alhaj Dhastagir auditorium. The function was inaugurated by Mr. G. Sathyamurthy, Application Engineer, Technocrat Automation Solutions (P) Ltd., Chennai by lighting the lamp. The association activities for the academic year 2016 – 2017 were announced and the association members had been broadcasted during the programme. The Association logo designed by the students was released by the chief guest.

The inaugural session was followed by a seminar on "Recent Trends In Industrial Automation" which was delivered by the chief guest Mr. G. Sathyamurthy for II, III and IV year EEE students. He highlighted the applications of industrial automation. The concept of PLC, SCADA and DCS was explained to the students. The Ladder diagram using various logic gates for multi-input, multi-output system was demonstrated with practical applications. The basic principles of industrial automation were explored to students with a video session.
